In January, the Franke Management team visited one of the longstanding charities we support – the Ronald McDonald House in Hong Kong. The charity provides temporary homes close to hospitals for the parents and siblings of children who are suffering from severe illnesses.
Franke leaders saw first-hand the difference the charity makes to the children and their families and discussed future support needs. In addition to equipment, Franke China provides annual donations of rice, cooking oil, and children’s stationary to the Shanghai charity branch.
Franke also provides support in crisis situations. In November, a major fire occurred at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong, affecting seven residential blocks, significantly impacting the community. In response, Franke mobilized a coordinated effort, reflecting the One Franke approach to providing timely support. Contributions from all divisions and the Shared Services Center teams were distributed via the Hong Kong Red Cross to support emergency relief measures.
