Meet Anjali working in India

Anjali’s journey with Franke is a story of continuous learning, determination and growth. Joining as the first woman in the logistics team in India, she gradually took on broader responsibilities and built a successful career in logistics, despite starting with a finance background and little knowledge of warehousing, inventory management or supply chain processes. 

My name is Anjali and I joined Franke in 2021 as a Logistics Executive in Gurgaon, India. At the beginning, I was responsible for different logistics processes, including warehouse rent, transportation bills and other operational tasks. Over time, I was given more opportunities and promoted to Senior Logistics Executive.

Today, I work across a broad range of logistics activities in India, including billing, trade partner management, warehouse operations and domestic order management. My role requires careful planning and time management, because many tasks need to be completed within clear timelines. Every day, I plan my priorities, coordinate with colleagues and make sure that important logistics processes run smoothly.

What makes my journey especially meaningful is that I came from a finance background and had very little knowledge of warehousing, inventory management or logistics when I joined Franke. Learning an entirely new field was challenging, but it also became one of the most rewarding parts of my career. My seniors, colleagues and teams across India guided me, supported me and helped me grow. With their trust and encouragement, I was able to take on one responsibility after another and build my confidence along the way. 

One experience that stood out to me was becoming part of the safety observer team in India. This gave me the opportunity to contribute beyond my daily role and help create a safer working environment for everyone in the office. I am very proud to be involved in topics that help people feel safe and supported at work.

What I value most about Franke is the positive and supportive atmosphere. In the Gurgaon office, and also with colleagues from Pune and other locations, I have always felt guided and encouraged. Franke gave me the opportunity to grow in a field that was completely new to me and to build my career as the first woman in the logistics team in India. Looking back, I am proud of how much I have learned and how far I have come. 

For anyone considering joining Franke, my advice is to give your best and be open to learning. If you work with dedication and take responsibility, Franke will give you opportunities to grow.
