The warranty is applicable within the republic of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Warranty claims are subject to the following conditions:
The product has been used in an application that is suitable for the design and correct specification.
The product has been maintained and not damaged through the use of unsuitable chemicals and /or abrasive materials.
The product has not been exposed to unsuitable chemicals which could affect the material. These chemicals include but not limited to chlorine, household bleach, certain acid containing cleaners and exposure to salt water conditions. (Refer to Cleaning and maintenance of Stainless Steel on the website www.franke.co.za).
Installation was done by a competent electrician or plumber and that the installation is in accordance with the instruction manual supplied with the product.
The product has not been tampered with or modified.
Fair wear and tear excluded.
Franke warrants its Stainless Steel Domestic Kitchen Sinks against corrosion for 25 years from date of purchase. This excludes the Stainless Steel SA94 sink which carries a 24 month warranty against manufacturing defects. All guarantees are subject to terms and conditions and proof of purchase is required for all enquiries.
Franke Sink Mixers carry a 10 year guarantee on the body construction against manufacturing defects, with a 2 year guarantee on the cartridge. All guarantees are subject to proper installation and proof of purchase is required for all enquiries.
Franke Kitchen Sink Accessories including waste fittings, cutting boards and baskets carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects.
The Franke Turbo Plus TP-75 Waste Disposal Unit is warranted to be free from manufacturing defect for 24 months from the date of purchase.
Franke SD80 soap dispensers are warranted to be free from manufacturing defect for 2 years from the date of purchase. Warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of aggressive soaps or lack of maintenance.
Franke Economy Washtroughs and Economy Preparation Bowls carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects.
