The range of taps from KWC Professional is welcoming some new additions. We present the new F4 range of taps for use in hospitals and care facilities.

The F4 thermostatic single-lever mixer combines the most important criteria for hygienically sensitive areas: Safety, ergonomics and easy cleaning.

Active scald protection

The innovative mixer cartridge combines the complete thermostat function with proven ceramic disc technology for the first time. With "THERM inside", users can trigger the flow of water with the control lever as usual, and also select their desired temperature with scald protection. Thanks to the thermostatic control function, the selected temperature remains consistently above the entire setting range for even greater comfort. In addition to a turn-proof temperature stop, which is set during the installation, the safety switch-off guarantees safe washing and showering comfort for the user in the event of a cold-water failure. Of course, the wall-mounted mixers for washing and showering also come with scald-protected safe-touch housing.

Excessive temperatures in the cold-water range may cause microbial contamination in the drinking water installation. For this reason, the manufacturer has decoupled the volume-reduced water flow on the F4LT-Med wall-mounted mixers from the tap housing. Thermal insulating components reduce the transfer of heat from the housing to the cold water line. The low-lead brass (lead content ≤ 0.2%), the nickel-free, smooth surface of the internal water flow and a high flow speed guarantee even greater hygienic safety in the drinking water. Thanks to the intrinsic safety of the thermostatic cartridge against water flowing back, the F4 taps no longer need a backflow preventer, which poses a risk of contamination.

The two-sense principle makes it easier to use

The ergonomically shaped lever cap on the F4LT-Med taps is easy to grip thanks to its bracket design and the slight curvature in the front, even if the user has limited manual dexterity. Furthermore, the basalt-grey coating on the end of the lever provides visual orientation for all users. The cleaning-optimised F4LT-Med thermostat single-lever mixers for sanitary facilities can be combined with the barrier-free MIRANIT washbasins from KWC Professional. For the shower fitting version, a hand shower with shower pole is available from the manufacturer's range of accessories.
