With the current F5 line of taps, Franke has once again managed to implement the most innovative technology in the perfect design. The product line is exceptional, both visually and haptically, and impresses with geometrical elegance and distinct design elements. Intelligent, hygienic and last but not least environmentally friendly, the taps set new standards when it comes to demanding, semi-public and public sanitary facilities.
The innovative F5 tap has been designed in three technology lines and in different sizes for versatile areas of use in the most demanding of conditions. Whether it's self-closing technology (F5S) with automatic water stop, touch-free electronics (F5E) with infrared detection, programmable functions and control options or single-lever mixing technology (F5L) with thermostatic protection from scalding - the user-friendly tap generation ensures maximum functional safety, durability and ease of maintenance.
All F5S taps use the FRAMIC (Franke Modular Innovation Cartridge) self-closing cartridge, which is unique to date and patented. Ceramic disc technology is used for the first time, powerfully demonstrating the manufacturer's skill in developing pioneering system solutions.
Consisting of hydraulic control, ceramic valve, water channel flow and a mixer unit, FRAMIC ensures stagnation-free, hydraulic control of the water flow and sets the highest hygiene standards for sanitation facilities.
The cartridge operates without flow pressure thanks to its media-separating design. The flow duration can be continuously adjusted according to the specific usage needs. This enables sustainable, environmentally friendly and economical use of water.
In the case of the F5S versions, the active protection from scalding is also optimally ensured with the thermostat-equipped versions. All F5 wall-mounted mixers for wall mounting are equipped with a scald-protected Safe-Touch housing.
The combination with a hygiene unit permits automatic water hygiene flushing and thermal disinfection of the taps in compliance with regulations as required. To this end, with the help of optional bidirectional remote control, functional parameters can be set and statistical data can be exported. The operating data is available to the operator to monitor and manage the drinking water installation system and ensure transparency when it comes to hygiene measures.
