Our portafilter is designed to allow the barista to shine; he can rely on excellent temperature stability, can configure the brewing temperature to his individual needs, and is supported discretely by an array of electronic details. Consistent espresso quality depends more than anything on a consistent brewing temperature. This is why our traditional coffee machine features a unique heat exchanger, which is heated evenly by steam from the service boiler and ensures excellent temperature stability
The key to the perfect extraction of flavor is the flow velocity and flow duration of the water. We have optimized these parameters in our coffee machine. By reducing the diameter of the portafilter to 53 mm (from the usual 58 mm), we achieve the perfect level of coffee grounds.
Thanks to the ITC function (Individual Temperature Control), the brewing temperature can be individually programmed per group - on the T400 - and even per product on the T600. On the T600, you can also control the brewing water temperature and boiler temperature separately. These functions offer a wealth of possibilities for the skillful barista.
The intelligent steam spout stops the frothing process as soon as the perfect foam is produced. Thanks to this Autosteam function, you can also program the foam consistency in line with your individual requirements and for each steam spout. The Autosteam function is available as an option on the T400 and as standard on the T600.
Intelligent menu navigation, easy-to-control pump and boiler pressure, and plenty of electronic support in daily operations: all of this makes your work easier and promises many wonderful moments of enjoyment.
In addition to the basic models featuring two, three or four brewing groups, our traditional coffee machine can also be tailored to more specific needs. The take-away versions, for example, offer space for taller glasses and cups under the brewing group. And the compact versions of the T200 and T400, with two brewing groups each, offer the same excellent performance of their sister models, but require less space.
Our traditional espresso machine shows yet again how Franke understands day-to-day life in the food-service industry. Energy has to be saved during normal operation, but the full performance has to be available immediately in peak times. Both the T400 and the T600 can increase the heating power in no time at all. This boost function guarantees excellent performance, while optimizing energy consumption.
