Franke Washino play troughs chosen for West London Primary School revamp
The washrooms in a West London School were in need of refurbishment, and they took the opportunity to completely rethink the use of space. They had a more modern, fresh look in mind for the Key Stage 1 & 2 school washrooms, and the Franke Washino range fitted perfectly with the scheme.
The entire redesign of the school washrooms was conducted with young users in mind so Franke’s Washino wash and play trough (SANW215P) were used instead of traditional wash basins. The Washino range is ergonomically designed to allow children to get closer to the taps, and the playful wave and pleasant warm surface of the Miranit troughs are a temptation for children to wash their hands.

Franke solid surface washtroughs chosen for Leicester primary school
The washrooms within Brookside Primary school, Leicester were in need of refurbishment, and they took the opportunity to choose Franke to provide a washroom solution. The Solx range of Miranit solid surface washtroughs and Aqua taps were chosen to fulfill the requirements of four washrooms throughout the school.
The playful design and the pleasant warm surface of the Miranit solid surface troughs are a temptation for children to wash their hands. The non-porous, high gloss hygienic surface in conjunction with a high resistance to impact and abrasion, emphasis how well these troughs are suitable for everyday use.

Uridan water-free urinals provide solution to water leakage at winchmore school - London
Winchmore School, a co-educational secondary school has completed a washroom refit specifying Franke’s Uridan waterless Cadet GRP urinal pods. The Uridan system is available exclusively through Franke Sissons in the UK and Ireland and is manufactured from glass reinforced plastic which is far more resilient than ceramic and provides reassuring security against vandalism.
Adrian Bailey, Facilities Manager at Winchmore School explained, “We wanted a waterless solution to reduce water use and maintenance costs. There are other water-free products available for this type of installation but we wanted assurance it would stand the wear and tear of secondary school pupils and be completely odour free.”
Serlby Park Academy benefit from stainless steel sanitaryware from Franke Sissons
Franke Sissons were thrilled to be chosen to supply their stainless steel sanitaryware products on the recent extension to Serlby Park Academy in Doncaster.
Four of Franke Sissons Centinel drinking fountains and six of their six person stainless steel circular washtroughs were supplied to the Derbyshire appointed Building Services Contractor, William Bailey Ltd.

Henry Fanshawe School choose Franke Sissons for washroom upgrade
Well known in the area due to its 231 year heritage, Franke Sissons were chosen to supply a mixture of products from their composite and stainless steel sanitary ranges.
Premises Manager, Keith Pattinson explains “We wanted to upgrade our washroom facilities with a robust but stylish washroom provision so we decided on a combination of a stainless steel circular washstation and a Miranit washtrough. The circular washtrough was delivered fully assembled which saved us time during installation and the Miranit composite trough looks fantastic in its surroundings.
