International cricket ground, the Kia Oval at Kennington, in the London Borough of Lambeth, South London has undergone a major redevelopment of its washroom facilities recently and has used products from the stunning range of Franke Sissons, (part of the Franke Group) to fulfil its requirements. This latest round of modernisation has taken the capacity to in excess of 25,300, making it the second largest cricket ground in the country behind Lord’s.
Franke Sissons were thrilled to be chosen by professional M & E Contractor, Mectric Solutions Ltd of London to provide the complete range of sanitaryware from their comprehensive stainless steel and composite sanitaryware portfolio. Products such as their composite Miranit washtroughs, stainless steel urinals, washbasins and WC’s plus complementing grab rails were all part of the installation.
Martin Cosgrove from Mectric Solutions commented “Product quality was a huge factor in deciding on which supplier to choose for such a prestigious project and with a brand name like Franke, we knew we would get the best quality that would last for years to come, and still look good too! The fact that they can offer the complete solution and in a choice of materials was an added bonus, as it saved us time from having to source from different suppliers.”
