1. Replace the filter cartridge
Depending on the hardness and volume of water that you use, your tap’s filter cartridge should be replaced every six months. Changing your filter is essential for two reasons.
Firstly, its unique composition of filtration media is working hard to tackle unpleasant tastes and odours such as chlorine. But it’s doing this day in, day out and, over time, effectivity lessens. Secondly, your tap’s filter cartridge prevents limescale from building up inside the boiler tank. Limescale will damage the element inside your tap’s boiler tank and impede its ability to function properly. So timely filter cartridge replacements really are a must.
Ideally, you’ll have registered your tap when it was installed. But if not, you can still do this easily online and by app. Buying replacement filter cartridges is also easy – just visit Franke FilterFlow. Or search in the App Store or Google Play for ‘Franke FilterFlow’.
