Aarburg, March 14, 2018 - Change at the top management level of the Franke Group: CEO Alexander Zschokke has decided to leave Franke due to different opinions about the further development of the company. His successor Patrik Wohlhauser takes over the leadership of the Franke Group as of March 19, 2018.
Aarburg, January 8, 2018 - The Franke Group has appointed Gianluca Mapelli as its new Chief Operating Officer and member of the Group Management Board. Gianluca Mapelli replaces Lukas Burkhardt, who is leaving Franke at his own request to pursue new challenges.
Bad Säckingen, August 16, 2017 - Franke has initiated the active construction phase of its new logistics center in Bad Säckingen with an official groundbreaking ceremony. By the end of 2018 the Franke Group will expand its existing logistics center on the Franke GmbH premises to include a fully automated high-bay warehouse for the Franke Kitchen Systems and Franke Water Systems divisions. Automated storage and preparation for dispatch will guarantee a considerably more efficient and flexible flow of goods in the future, thereby improving again the level of service for customers.
Aarburg, June 1, 2017 - The Franke Group - with headquarters in Aarburg, Switzerland - has acquired a majority stake in Elikor LLC, the leader in the Russian kitchen hoods market. The Franke Group's aim is to leverage the know-how of its Italian subsidiary Faber S.p.A., one of the world's largest developers and producers of hoods for domestic kitchens. Faber, which is the hoods business unit within the Franke Group, will cooperate with the Kaluga-based company to further strengthening Elikor's position in Russia and to continue developing current product ranges of high-end kitchen hoods in both contemporary and traditional designs.
Aarburg, May 30, 2017 - 2016 was overall a good year for the Artemis Group. The Group registered a considerable increase in net sales, operating result (EBIT) and net profit during the reporting year. With their positive business performance, all Artemis activities contributed to the markedly improved annual result. This pleasing result was possible despite numerous challenges, e.g. the weakening of the British pound, terrorism in Europe or political turmoil, particulary in Turkey, Russia and Brazil, all key markets of the Group.
Aarburg, April 3, 2017 - The Franke Group1 achieved a pleasing increase in sales and significantly improved profitability in 2016, despite a challenging global economy. The sales growth was driven mainly by strong organic growth in the double-digit percentage range. The higher profitability is based on sales rises in practically all of the divisions and on group-wide operating efficiency improvements.
Aarburg, August 30, 2016 - In the first half of 2016 the Artemis Group generated consolidated net sales of CHF 1,341 million with its Franke Group, Artemis Real Estate Group, Feintool Group and Artemis Asset Management Group activities – recording an increase of CHF 131.3 million or 10.9% over the same period in the prior year.
Aarburg, August 26, 2016 - In the first half of 2016, the Franke Group generated consolidated net sales of CHF 985.2 million compared to CHF 885.1 million over the same period in the prior year. This represents sales growth of 11.3%.
Aarburg, June 28, 2016 - The Franke Group has appointed Thomas Meier as Head of the Franke Coffee Systems division and simultaneously a member of the Management Board. Meier follows Yvo Locher, who will now become Head of Global Sales for Franke Coffee Systems, in this position.

Aarburg, May 31, 2016 - The Swiss franc's strong gain in value in January 2015 created major challenges for all companies and participations of the Artemis Group in the course fo the year, leading to transaction and translation losses. Thanks to considerable efforts, there was only a slight downturn in sales and operating profits in the face of these challenges. Moreover many long-term initiatives were implemented in the reporting year. Consequently the Artemis Group laid an important foundation for more good results in the future. Against this background the financial development of the Artemis Group in 2015 was also positive.
Aarburg, May 27, 2016 - The Swiss Franke Group – headquartered in Aarburg – and Paini Rubinetterie – a leading Italian supplier of domestic and industrial bathroom taps have acquired Mamoli Robinetteria S.p.A., a longstanding Milanese company and leader for bathroom taps, with an acquired proportion of 55 percent and 45 percent respectively.
Aarburg, April 4, 2016 - The Swiss Franke Group has acquired an interest of 25 percent in Duravit AG, Germany. As part of the strategic partnership, the two companies plan to mutually develop innovative product series for the bathroom and kitchen area under their respective brands.

Aarburg, July 24, 2014 – The Swiss Franke Group, headquartered in Aarburg sells the Mobile Systems business, which is part of its subsidiary Franke Aquarotter GmbH based in Ludwigsfelde, Germany to the American TransDigm Group in Cleveland, Ohio. The sale and purchase agreement was signed on July 23, 2014.
Aarburg, June 3, 2014 – The Artemis Group remained on its growth path during 2013, reporting growth of 4.6%. The Feintool Group in particular enjoyed strong demand from the automobile industry. Following the completion of a restructuring program, its efforts of recent years are now beginning to bear fruit.
