Potato Pie With Mozzarella & Ham Filling

50 gr Butter

2 Eggs

20 gr Grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

50 gr Mozzarella

100 gr Parma ham

600 gr Potatoes

  Salt and Pepper




Step 1

Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water and mash them while still warm.

Step 2

Before they have cooled down add the thoroughly beaten eggs, Parmesan cheese, a pinch of nutmeg, a knob of butter, salt and pepper. Knead into a dough and fill the slightly buttered molds with it and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Step 3

Make a hole in the center with your thumb. Place in oven.

Step 4

When finished take out of oven and fill the holes with small pieces of Parma ham and mozzarella.
