There is hardly any kitchen activity where water does not play a central role. Various studies have shown that, in a three-person household, the kitchen taps are turned on and off an average of 90 times a day. That means they are turned on and off 35,000 times a year and, in fifteen years, which is how long a good fitting can last, 500,000 times. This example shows clearly why Franke, as a manufacturer of branded products, places the greatest importance on including in its range only high-quality, technically perfect fittings with a long service-life warranty. Fittings, which are also good to look at because, according to the studies, the design among other things is decisive in the choice of fittings.


As a result Franke Kitchen Systems has now expanded its product range in this area with a whole range of high-quality, technically perfect designer fittings. All are single-lever mixers, which allow you to alter the water volume and temperature smoothly using one hand. That is also the reason why already more than 80% of customers today choose single-lever mixer fittings for the "sink unit" work area.



MYTHOS – with an extra high outlet
The extra-high, swivelling outlet of the new Mythos fitting (photo 2) with integrated, long attachment hose, for example, proves to be very practical and easy-to-use for everyday kitchen tasks. It can easily be used to fill large containers such as vases, buckets or pots next to the sink. Fruit, vegetables and dishes can easily be rinsed and don't forget that the sink unit itself can be washed much more easily.



Bi-Color Optic – very trendy
Colourful sink units with perfectly co-ordinated fittings in attractive Bi-Color Optics are the latest trend. The decorative features in granite make an attractive contrast with chrome (photo 1) and make these elegant fittings the centre of attention of any sink unit. Both BELAQUA styles are available with and without attachment hose and in a choice of chrome or in titanium and there is a choice of nine attractive granite colours for the Bi-Color model.



Simple elegance – timeless beauty
In contrast, the classic timeless design of the new BELAQUA 390 (photo 3) is very simple. The right-angled single-lever mixer, available in chrome and titanium, is a style which design freaks will love. The swivelling tap with the easy-to-reach mixer lever is also available with or without attachment hose.

Professional – with central control
BELAQUA 330 (photo 4) is the name of the new Franke fitting. Right from the first time you see it, it lets you know that a keen amateur chef with great ambitions is at work. This style, designed for semi-professional requirements, can reach considerably further with its extra long attachment hose. The hose works from a central control and retracts quasi-automatically when it is no longer needed. In addition, the BELAQUA 330 is also fitted with a second swivelling outlet underneath the spray attachment. This is a tap which offers optimal working conditions for the sink area and, at the same time, as a visual highlight, is guaranteed to attract attention.



Designer Model with Swing
Finally, the slightly curved BELAQUA 323 mixer lever (photo 5) makes an exciting contrast to the outlet which is straight and angled upwards. This extravagant designer model is available only in stainless steel and with hose attachment. And with the new Franke Atlantis sink unit, this fitting can even be mounted by a fast attachment system, saving time.
