At first glance, the new Franke BEACH looks
like a straightforward inset sink; if you look more closely, however,
you see that it is an exceptionally convenient kitchen facility for
washing and preparing food. The new sink is extremely flexible and
highly adaptable, providing a generous amount of workspace, even in
a very small area. |

Thanks to the striking
curvature of the basin, unwieldy cookware can be cleaned more
easily, without it sliding out of your grip. Another useful
plus: there is a big reduction in water consumption. |

For right- or left-hand
use – the chopping board can be fitted on either side. |

While the crockery
is soaking in the basin, you can continue peeling and chopping
on the chopping board. There is lots of extra workspace because
the sink can be covered. |

The round auxiliary
basin is twist-fit and can be simply fitted and removed in seconds.
The optional accessories of strainer and stainless steel drain
tray are also useful away from the sink. |

David Goodwin, the designer
of this latest Franke innovation, has managed to create a kitchen
worksta-tion where form and function complement each other perfectly.
It is quite out of the ordinary, not just in terms of design, but
also because of its many practical featu-res aimed at making life
more efficient and enjoyable for the user. Now, the message has clearly
got through to the media. The new Franke BEACH featured in the popular
Swiss cooking program “ALDENTE” and was also part of the kitchen equipment
used in the British series “Big Brother”.
The key advantage of the BEACH – available for size 60 base cabinets
– is that you can position the work board to the left or right, or
so that it completely covers the basin. Furthermore, the round auxiliary
basin is a world first. The twist-fit, lock-in design is simplicity
itself to install or remove whenever you want. The striking curvature
of the basin offers two practical advantages: it not only reduces
water consumption, but also makes it much easier to clean unwieldy
baking trays without them sliding out of your grip. There is also
a double sink compartment, a “remote-control” strainer valve, a separate
wash-up liquid dispenser, faucets with a shower hose and all the accessories.
Working in the kitchen is faster and more efficient as a result. The
close-up illustrations show better than any description what makes
the BEACH sink unit stand out from the rest. |
