The new surface quality of Ceramicplus (Villeroy & Boch) and "Easy to Clean" (Franke Brand) sets new standards in terms of easy care and hygiene. No more scrubbing and scouring! Regular cleaning with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent is sufficient.

To ensure that your kitchen sink retains its easy-care properties as long as possible and you are able to benefit in full from all the advantages of Ceramicplus and Easy to Clean, we would like to provide you with the following care tips:

Care of your kitchen sink

For everyday cleaning of your kitchen sink, we recommend the use of a soft, non-scratching sponge or cloth. A standard washing-up liquid or vinegar-based cleaner is ideal, especially in areas with particularly hard water. In rare instances, metal objects may leave traces on ceramic surfaces, as ceramics are harder than metal. For these kinds of blemishes, use the same type of cleaners made specifically for glass and ceramic cook tops. These cleaners can be found at most appliance and home center retailers.

We would like to point out that the following highly aggressive cleaning agents (see below) may scratch the ceramic surface and impair the unique properties of Ceramicplus and Easy to Clean, even destroying them completely if used over a prolonged period.

  • Scouring liquid or scouring powder
  • Highly concentrated drain cleaners
  • Cleaners for tap fittings and steel

We therefore recommend you avoid using such cleaning agents completely, or at least avoid any direct contact with the ceramic surfaces when using drain cleaners or cleaners for tap fittings or steel.

Thanks to the exceptional easy-care properties of Ceramicplus and "Easy to Clean", no aggressive cleaning agents are required for fresh cleanliness and optimum hygiene.
