Choosing a Retailer
FRANKE UK is frequently contacted by consumers who are experiencing supply problems with Internet traders - problems which we have difficulty in resolving since we have no direct relationship with any such traders. Before placing orders with Internet traders, consumers would be well advised to satisfy themselves on the following;
1. Do the delivered prices quoted include all elements necessary for the installation of the product? If not, what is missing and what is the additional cost?
2. Does the Internet trader have a physical address and telephone number so that he can be contacted / visited by the consumer?
3. How well is the consumer covered in the event of the wrong products arriving or if damaged, and / or if remedies are required under warranty?
Clearly none of the above questions need to be asked when dealing with any of the companies shown on our Dealer Locator.
We would like to make it clear that Franke UK Ltd do not trade directly with any internet retailer, and are specifically not connected with the company operating as 'FRANKE ONLINE'. We would suggest to consumers that they should thoroughly investigate the credentials and trading terms of internet retailers, and in particular that they should be satisfied concerning the existence of proper commercial premises, After Sales facilities and telephone contactability.
