We aspire to create value for our stakeholders by meeting the needs of our customers, employees and the communities where we have operations. People and natural resources are treated with care and respect. Our products and services are designed towards excellence during the whole life cycle. Lasting relationships with our customers are essential. Long term financial stability is more important than short term success.
Our activities are guided by the Sustainability Principles that embrace the economical, ecological and social aspects which matter to Franke. In addition, different sustainability topics are addressed in internal policy documents and guidelines such as the Code of Conduct. Group Management has approved a sustainability roadmap that defines our activities for the next years.
Different entities such as the Corporate Sustainability Department, the Franke Sustainability Team and the Sustainability Steering Committee closely interact to ensure an efficient and effective sustainability management across the Group.
We are aware that business does not act in isolation but is interacting with various stakeholder groups. We plan to formalize interactions with representatives of important stakeholder groups in the future. Also, Franke and its companies are active in a wide range of industry associations, initiatives and other organizations. Many of these organizations deal with sustainability topics e.g. define best practice standards or develop product labels. A list of our stakeholders and memberships can be downloaded below.
In 2011, Franke Group signed up to the UN Global Compact. We are committed to making the Global Compact and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption part of our day-to-day operations.
