Aarburg, April 4, 2016 - The Swiss Franke Group has acquired an interest of 25 percent in Duravit AG, Germany. As part of the strategic partnership, the two companies plan to mutually develop innovative product series for the bathroom and kitchen area under their respective brands.

Aarburg, June 2, 2015 – Year on year, both the Franke Group and the Feintool Group as well as the various strategic shareholdings in listed companies of the Artemis Group improved their performance. They benefited from a favorable macroeconomic environment, e.g. from relatively stable exchange rates, low interest rates and declining raw material prices. Against this backdrop, the Artemis Group remained on the growth path in the financial year 2014 and recorded sound organic growth of 6.1%. The profitability of the Artemis Group also further improved compared to 2013. Key growth drivers included the sales growth and efficiency increases in the Franke Group and the Feintool Group.
Aarburg, April 19, 2015 – For the Franke Group, the 2014 financial year was a successful year overall despite challenging market conditions. Net sales have grown, mainly driven by organic growth. Almost all divisions contributed to this growth. Greater operating profitability could also be achieved due to growing sales and substantial efficiency improvements based on the Operational Excellence program launched in 2013. The Swiss National Bank’s decision to unpeg the Swiss franc from the euro will result in the Franke Group facing challenging business conditions in 2015.
Aarburg, April 15, 2015 – Today, the Franke Group will be officially putting its new woodchip heating system into operation at its Swiss headquarters in Aarburg. In addition, since the start of this year, Franke has been sourcing its electricity exclusively from Swiss hydropower. Thanks to the measures, the group now covers the entire heat and power requirements for the Aarburg site using renewable, CO22-neutral energy sources and is thus investing in a secure supply of clean energy.

Aarburg, July 24, 2014 – The Swiss Franke Group, headquartered in Aarburg sells the Mobile Systems business, which is part of its subsidiary Franke Aquarotter GmbH based in Ludwigsfelde, Germany to the American TransDigm Group in Cleveland, Ohio. The sale and purchase agreement was signed on July 23, 2014.
Aarburg, June 3, 2014 – The Artemis Group remained on its growth path during 2013, reporting growth of 4.6%. The Feintool Group in particular enjoyed strong demand from the automobile industry.
