Aarburg, April 19, 2015 – For the Franke Group, the 2014 financial year was a successful year overall despite challenging market conditions. Net sales have grown, mainly driven by organic growth. Almost all divisions contributed to this growth. Greater operating profitability could also be achieved due to growing sales and substantial efficiency improvements based on the Operational Excellence program launched in 2013. The Swiss National Bank’s decision to unpeg the Swiss franc from the euro will result in the Franke Group facing challenging business conditions in 2015.
Aarburg, April 15, 2015 – Today, the Franke Group will be officially putting its new woodchip heating system into operation at its Swiss headquarters in Aarburg. In addition, since the start of this year, Franke has been sourcing its electricity exclusively from Swiss hydropower. Thanks to the measures, the group now covers the entire heat and power requirements for the Aarburg site using renewable, CO22-neutral energy sources and is thus investing in a secure supply of clean energy.
Aarburg, December 11, 2014 – Franke has named Lars Völkel as the new Division Head of Franke Kitchen Systems and at the same time as a member of the Franke Group Management Board.
Aarburg, September 11, 2014 – The Artemis Group generated net sales of CHF 1,355.4 million with its activities Franke Group, Artemis Real Estate Group, Artemis Asset Management Group and Feintool Group in the first half of 2014 – an increase of 11.0% over the same period last year.
Aarburg, July 24, 2014 – The Swiss Franke Group, headquartered in Aarburg sells the Mobile Systems business, which is part of its subsidiary Franke Aquarotter GmbH based in Ludwigsfelde, Germany to the American TransDigm Group in Cleveland, Ohio. The sale and purchase agreement was signed on July 23, 2014.
Aarburg, June 3, 2014 – The Artemis Group remained on its growth path during 2013, reporting growth of 4.6%. The Feintool Group in particular enjoyed strong demand from the automobile industry. Following the completion of a restructuring program, its efforts of recent years are now beginning to bear fruit.
