Anniversary Book

To date, four pioneers have shaped Franke’s history: Herman Franke, who founded the company 1911 in difficult times, and who quickly recognized the potential of stainless steel; Walter Franke, who is one of the fathers of standardization in the kitchen, and who consequently helped to make possible the series production of kitchens; Willi Pieper, who structured the company, had the courage to expand into America, and who therefore took the first step towards the company’s global operations, and Michael Pieper, who was the first in the industry to capture the markets in Eastern Europe, Asia, South America and Africa, and who made Franke the global market leader in Kitchen Systems and Foodservice Systems – thanks to the active support of his employees and management.
